From a photograph to a stroke or halftone vector image
Atropos software is aimed to be used by security printers, and anyone who needs to elaborate any kind of raster images into a graphic drawing.
Atropos has been conceived according to the user mode of most popular graphic software.
Its purpose is to create an artwork vector image (AI, EPS) from a source raster image (BMP, JPG, PNG).
This software is mainly intended to create stroke vector images on basis of a source raster image. The program allows creating an image that simulates the artwork made by the burin. It can be semiautomatic and automatic, enabling the graphic operator to fill automatically areas with templates of strokes. The high quality result is guaranteed by many different templates of strokes which are editable with a lot of parameters. Those templates of strokes permit also to make Numismatics and Latent Images.
Last but not least, Atropos can transform a raster image with Waveframe, Peano and Halfone Templates using editable modules generated with any common grapchic software allowing to create an huge quantity of backgrounds.
